GRADUATE CURRICULUM
MASTER OF MUSIC: PERFORMANCE Candidate must complete a total of 33 credits, of which 15 must be in the private instruction area, including a principal performance medium; 9 or 12 credits in supportive graduate courses, ensembles, and Graduate Seminar; and 6 or 9 credits in ensembles and/or free elective courses.
Each candidate must also pass the Expository Writing Examination, present a qualifying recital and a final recital of works approved by the private instructor. After completing all other course work, the candidate must pass an Oral Comprehensive Examination, given by a panel of the student's Graduate Studies instructors.
